Dance photos make me SO happy!

Last night I was culling through images while backing them up from the Stroud wedding this weekend in Cedar Falls, Iowa and I couldn’t help but stay up far too late to post a few of my favorites to Facebook.

The wedding reception took place at the fabulous Park Place Event Center in Cedar Falls, IA. I must say Des Moines could sure use an event center like that!

Amber you planned one FANTASTIC wedding. Your family and friends were so amazing to us as well. We really enjoyed being a part of your and Scott’s big day!

Downtown Des Moines Rain

Last night the skyline was gorgeous! Fog + dusk = awesomeness. I couldn’t help but drive down Grand Avenue here in Des Moines and snap some pictures through the rain splats on my windshield of the downtown Des Moines skyline.

These are all taken with our new lens! Canon 24-70L f/2.8mm. Have a feeling this will be a HUGE improvement over our 24-105L IS F/4 that we traded it for.

This weekend we have a wedding in Cedar Falls that we are SO incredibly excited about. Amber and Scott are just amazing. Can’t wait to see what you two have in store for your big day.
