Our last of 17 weddings this year took place on Black Friday here in Des Moines for Katie and Tom. Just wanted to post a quick snapshot from the lovely couple outside the Temple for Preforming Arts where they were married as well as where the reception took place. Such a gorgeous wedding and a fantastic couple to work with!

Last week we had the pleasure of shooting a quick family session here in Des Moines. We are finally getting all caught up with blog posts! Hopefully putting together a best of year album in the next few weeks.
Our last wedding of 2010 is a week from today on Black Friday here in Des Moines. Katie and Tom picked a fantastic venue of the Temple for the Preforming Arts downtown and we can’t wait to share in their big day!

We shot the last Buena Vista University home football game of the year with a Canon 1D MK IV and a 300mm f/2.8 USM IS lens from CPS. I must say…WOW. We need two MK IV’s stat!
We hadn’t been able to get to any other games this year as we had weddings booked on those Saturdays. It was nice to actually make it to a game as well as shoot with some pretty sweet gear!
Below are just a few favorites from the game. The images are a combination of our 5D MKII, a Canon 1D MKIV, and the 300mm f/2.8L and 70-200 f/2.8L.
