Meet Dexter!

I suppose it has been awhile since we last posted on the blog which is extremely unlike us. Mainly out of the fact that things have slowed down a bit for us this time of year and partly because of our newest little addition. Say hello to Dexter! (Yes he already knows he is pretty cute, he even poses for photos!)

He is an Olde English Bulldogge and we have had him now a few weeks. He is from the nicest family who runs Friendship Kennels out of Mason City. If you are looking for a pet that is good with people and children I highly recommend checking out their new litters. Dexter is one happy little pup!In other news we had the pleasure of shooting an NBA game last Saturday here in Des Moines for the Iowa Energy. For those of you who don’t know about them they are an NBA Development League who play locally at the Wells Fargo Arena.  I must say it was SO awesome to shoot, much different than college games we have shot int he past. We do want to give a big shout-out as well to our friend and photographer Jason who runs Picture Iowa and Moonwell Photography for the hookup with the press passes!

We have something special to share later this week too from a project in October as well as a few engagement sessions next weeks and a New Years Eve wedding with Tony & Steph on the books! Can’t wait to share all the new stuff in the next few weeks!

One last thing…vacation photos from our trip to NYC and NJ from July will be processed (sometime) soon and  I will be sure to make a blog post. We still haven’t had time to cull through the over 4,000 photos and videos from our trip due to being so busy with weddings this summer and fall.

Happy holidays everyone and thanks for helping us have such a fantastic year this year with ZTS! We appreciate you all and our clients are THE best.

I leave you with one last Dexter photo. Ahh he is just adorable!

Happy Holidays!

Last night we put up and decorated a little tree in the loft. Decided that it was the perfect opportunity to bring out the camera and snap a few holiday photos, I just love this time of year!

Below shot with the 50L f/1.2, 100L macro f/2.8 and 15mm f/2.8 fisheye

Happy holidays all!
