Tony and Steph’s wedding was a fantastic end to our 2011 season as well as kickoff to our 2012! They couldn’t have received better weather for the 31st of December in Iowa. Mid 50’s and glorious.

I meet Tony when I was in my senior year of High School in Indianola way back in the fall of 2004. I had decided to take a few college classes at the local college and he just happened to be in one of my Graphic Design courses that fall and the following spring. Attending college at 17 was a bit intimidating but I always remember Tony being one of the friendliest people to be around as well as one seriously talented artist.

We have run into each other and stayed in touch over the years off and on occasionally. We were more than thrilled when he e-mailed that he had recently got engaged to a gorgeous gal and were interested in wedding information!

Their big day started off with Stephanie and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done at the lovely Anani Salon & Spa in Ankey. The ceremony to follow soon after took place at the New Hope United Methodist Church. Post ceremony the guests and wedding party made their way out to the reception site at the Tuscany Event Center a few miles west in Urbandale. I must say I was throughly impressed with the Tuscany Event Center as we hadn’t shot there in the past. They did a fantastic job and had such friendly staff. It is a great venue if you are looking for a reception site in the Des Moines area!

Tony and Steph you two were just fantastic clients. it has been fun getting to know you both more through out the past few months and sure we will run into you again in the near future here around Des Moines. Best of luck with your new life together, we wish you nothing but the best!

Oh and may I add that you have some awesome friends and family, holy cow we were blown away by them the entire wedding day with their kindness.
