Nebraska Photography Meetup

Tanner and I went to a studio get together in Nebraska a few weeks ago. Among chatting with some of the local photographers, shooting some studio shots and sharing a few beers we had one of them snap a photo of us in the gorgeous basement studio. Kind of fun to be behind the camera for once!

Thanks to Daniel Dunlap for the photo &  Joe Grimshaw for the studio use!

NBA Development League: Iowa Energy v Reno

A few months ago Tanner and I had the pleasure of shooting the local NBA Development League team here in Des Moines, the Iowa Energy. We have shot plenty of high school and college basketball through the years but shooting for the NBA D League is a whole new game. Holy cow those boys move!

Tanner and I behind the scenes before the game started via the iPhone:

And now onto the action!

The below are shot with the Canon 5D MK II x2, Canon 7D, 135L, 70-200 f/2.8, 100L, 85L II, 15mm f/2.8 fisheye & 14mm f/2.8.

Stay tuned this weekend we have another wedding in Indianola with Jenn & Lucas. Photos to come soon! Hope you all are enjoying this fantastic abnormally warm Iowa spring too!

Hager New Year’s Eve Fusion Wedding Video | Des Moines Videography

Tanner and I had the privilege of working with Tony and Steph for their big day this past New Year’s Eve here in Des Moines. You can see the entire blog post from their amazing day here.

Tanner wrapped up the final editing their fusion video awhile ago from their wedding day (video + stills) and last night they stopped by to watch in person to watch it & pick it up. You two rock, plain and simple. 🙂 Enjoy married life!

The final version of the video is below and don’t forget to stay tuned for photos from Jenn & Lucas’s wedding next weekend!
