Des Moines, Iowa Engagement Proposal

A few weeks ago I was asked if I could be extra sneaky and photograph a proposal for some fellow BVU alums. Of-course I said yes, how cool is that! Congrats to Adam & Kelsey!

Also note I totally got away with creeping them without her knowledge, apparently shooting weddings has given me some amazing creeper skills! [:

December 2012 Blizzard

Living in Iowa eventually each winter we are bound to get a whopper of a storm. Last winter was perfect (in my book) lacking one but if it has to snow DUH I have to take my camera out and snap some photos! Walked around East Village tonight as the storm was about 2 hours in, apparently we are going to get up to 12 inches of snow here in Des Moines. We shall have to see how it turns out in the morning!

Werner Wedding | 12.01.12 | Muscatine, Iowa

Kayla and Shawn were married in Muscatine Iowa on December 1st at the gorgeous St Mary & Mathias Catholic Parish. Following the ceremony we stopped quick by the Mississippi River for group portraits and then walked across the street to the best little bar The Pearl Bar & Lounge, just off the main highway into Muscatine. They knew the pent house owner so we had VIP access to do some cool portraits on the roof overlooking the city of Muscatine and the Mississippi River, how cool is that!?!
