Oh my gosh I am officially all caught up!!!! Until 7pm tonight when we have another engagement session, woo! Ha! (Those of you that know how photog life works from May-October we basically are never caught up, ha!)

Holy Rollins Mansion is BEAUTIFUL!

I felt like we were in a Disney movie all day at a princess mansion. Beauty and the Beast flashbacks to childhood. Just the perfect spot for a wedding!

We’ve been looking forward to this one for months and months. What a perfect location here in Des Moines for an outdoor ceremony AND the rare outdoor reception. We have another one here for summer 2017…I’m not sure I can actually wait that long though!

Sam and Adam had a wonderful day, and thank goodness the rain held out, I was so nervous (especially after our crazy rainy Spring of weddings!).

They had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony in the garden area out back followed by the reception on the giant patio deck an dancing in the driveway area complete with perfect string lights for that amazing added pop of light for us.

Thanks so much for including us and as always love working with some of our favorite vendors! Musical Edge (Kyle was actually was the DJ at our wedding) threw one heck of a dance party.

Something Chic as usual did a beyond amazing job with the florals and décor. Gateway Market knocked it out of the park with dinner and Beauty of All Faces was spot on with makeup.

Rollins is just a dream to shoot at. We just can’t wait to return!!! Note to all brides…please get married at a mansion and have your first dance at sunset. We photographers LOVE it!
