Trader Joe’s Grocery Store Shoppin’

Tonight I ventured out to the new Trader Joe’s in Des Moines. Tanner and I tried the weekend it opened and we barely made it through the door it was so incredibly packed. Tonight thankfully it was a bit calmer. I simply love food and shopping somewhere with unique items is always fun. I can’t wait to try some of this awesome looking stuff!

Oh and just to add Despicable Me DVD isn’t from Trader Joe’s. Just super excited to watch it!

Bertelsen Family Photos | ZTS Photo | Des Moines Iowa Portrait Photographers

Sunday night I had the pleasure of shooting some family photos for the Bertelsen siblings. We rented out the awesome Ikonix Studio here in Des Moines for the session.

They had several ideas for photos starting with some formal shots, then showing their family history with some Templeton Rye apparel which their Grandfather helped to found the company. Finally the finished up with some family photos in some Iowa Hawkeye gear.

Cherry Beer | Iowa Wedding Photographers

While holiday shopping this weekend we snatched this little snazzy guy up at Vintage Wine & Spirit. Sadly I was pretty disappointed with the Strawberry flavor so hoping this one will be a bit better!

I often get yelled at for stopping in stores to stare at awesome product packaging. This brand won the ‘sweetest label in the cooler’ award. After-all what sounds better on a Saturday than to purchase than some nice ice cold cheery beer? Can’t wait to try it!

As you can see were doing a bit of overhauling on the blog, website, and print site. Stay tuned for some new designs to be fully functioning in the next few days and weeks! Last night we had a fun family session at Ikonix Studio and next weekend we have another family session in Forest City.
