Morgan 2012 Southeast Polk High School Senior | Sneak Peek | Des Moines Senior Photographer

Last Sunday night we had the pleasure of photographing a local 2012 senior, Morgan from Southeast Polk High School. Just wanted to post a sneak peek from one of my favorites from the start of her session.

I just LOVE seniors! Can’t wait to share these soon!

Korenik Wedding June 18th, 2011 | Storm Lake, Iowa

Matt and Jessi were married on June 18th in Storm Lake, Iowa. We’ve known them for years attending Buena Vista University with them as fellow Beaver alumni and I went on spring break with them in the spring of 2008. (Man I am getting old!) 🙂 This was our first official western themed wedding complete with cowboy hats and boots!

Jessi and her bridesmaids started off the day with hair by Simone Newell at A Touch Above Hairdesign in Storm Lake then headed off to the Baymont Inn for makeup and dresses. Since they didn’t see each other before the ceremony we did formals separately for Matt’s family and Jessi’s family before the ceremony at the Storm Lake United Methodist Church. The rain broke for a bit which was enough time to take some awesome outdoor formals of the bridesmaids in the middle of the road just outside the church.

Post ceremony we traveled to an awesome abandoned train station where yet again the rain stopped just in time! It was located just a few blocks from the church for wedding party formals as well as bride and groom portraits. The reception took place at Lake Ave. Lounge located on the 3rd story of a great historic building in downtown Storm Lake.

Tony + Steph Engaged – Sneak Peek | Des Moines Engagement Photographers

Well what can I say about Tony and Steph other than they are just awesome! I meet Tony years ago when I took night classes at Simpson College for graphic design while still in high school at IHS. What a small world when years later we were contacted by him about shooting his wedding on New Years Eve here in Des Moines.

We started off their session downtown at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park  in Des Moines and then ventured off to some other fun locations around the metro area. Just wanted to post the very first frame of their session with their gorgeous pup.

Can’t wait to dive into editing these!
