Patel Family Photos | Des Moines Family Portrait Photographer

If your viewing this on Facebook head on over to our blog at https://www.ztsblog.com

A few months ago we were asked by the Patel family out of Indianola to shoot some photos when their daughter and her family were back visiting from England for a few days. We called up our friend Tom from Ikonix and headed down to Ikonix Studio here in Des Moines for the session. As always they have wonderful paper to fit every occasion and the gray paper backdrop was just the perfect fit for a family session!

Here is just a quick snapshot of the little boy…such a handsome man.

The family of 4 visiting from London.

A quick snapshot of their two children.

The proud aunt and uncle!

Next was a sibling picture.

Followed by a snapshot of the parents.

Lastly we ended with some wonderful group shots of the entire Patel family!

Adam O | Business Headshots | Des Moines Iowa Commercial Photographers

Last Thursday Tanner and I had the pleasure of shooting some professional business head-shots for my cousin who is staring this own financial investment firm here in the Des Moines area in July.

We started off in his backyard with some natural light head-shots and then headed off to his his new office in Waukee.

We setup a make-shift studio in his new office location in Waukee with the softbox and one 580 ex II against a white wall and the images turned out pretty well for one light!

Just a few of Adam in his new office.

Lastly Tanner snapped a photo of the exterior of the building. If your in need of a financial adviser/investor feel free to hit him up he has more than ten years experience in the industry and is wonderful to work with!

Kami Garner Senior 2011 | Iowa Senior Photographer

If your viewing this on facebook head on over to our blog at: https://www.ztsblog.com

Kami was just so much fun to shoot with! She is going to be a senior this fall at Garner-Hayfield High School in Garner, IA. She is a lifeguard in town at the local pool and her father is a fire fighter.  We started out with a few family photos with the fire engine just south of Garner at a park around 5:30pm last Sunday.

There was an overgrown field just behind the park where they parked the fire engine so we decided to take the family back there for a few shots as well.

Here are a few individuals of Kami with the truck

From the park we headed down the road to a small town just outside Garner where Tanner had driven through recently and thought would be just perfect for some shots at a few locations in town. (Don’t tell him but he was right!) 😉 We originally shot with the umbrella but it turned out to be a tad bit too windy so we had to break out the soft-box again. A big shout-out to Kami’s boyfriend for helping us out with the lighting for most of the shoot! Really, he did a great job!

Across the street from the little white building was a great location that we set up some great 580 ex II light stuff. Enjoy!

From there we headed back to Garner for a few shots around town. Kami had no fear as you can see from the shots and even had great posing ideas herself!

Next we headed off to another spot in town for some natural light head-shots.

The Elementary School park was the next stop on Kami’s pics.

After some shots at the park we finally headed back to the open field where the day began for some shots in her prom dress at sunset. Tanner’s mom had just re-upholstered an antique chair so we brought that along as we thought it might be a great prop. The light was fleeting fast but we got some great images!

Thanks for being amazing to work with Kami. We got some of our favorite images ever from your session!
