Just another quick photo from a senior session last weekend out of Forest City, Iowa. We have some really awesome pictures of you Jasmine! I am sure your anxious to see them. We will have them all up in the gallery online hopefully but this weekend.

Tonight Tanner and I are going to shoot an event for the Playboy Golf Tournament here in Des Monies. He is shooting the golf tournament tomorrow and I don’t think he could be more excited. Ha! (C’mon who wouldn’t!) He even borrowed a Canon 7D from a family friend so excited to try out the 70-200mm f/2.8 on a non full frame camera! Thanks again Calista for letting us borrow it.

Friday night we are having a final meeting for our Sept 4th wedding and Sunday an 2011 senior session with a senior from Grimes.

Possibly Sunday we are taking over a wedding for Huffaker Photographer out of Des Moines dependent on if his wife has her baby on Friday/Saturday. Could be an crazy weekend!

Chelsea + Zach Engaged // Forest City Iowa Engagement Photographer

Wednesday in the blazing heat and the best part (my birthday, YAY!) we had a wonderful (and HOT heat wise) engagement session with Chelsea and Zach!

We started out shooting at the sea wall in Clear Lake and then to a few spots in Mason City and then back to some sunset shots on the lake to wrap up the session.

I must say after this past week I am welcoming in fall with open arms. Bring on the 60’s and breeze!

Cheers to our 3rd engagement session last week and being all caught up on engagement and wedding photo editing. Phew we have been busy that’s for sure.

Bartleson Chicks + Zach | Iowa Family Photographer | Clear Lake, Iowa

August 11th in the 100 degree blazing heat we had a family and engagement session all rolled into one in Clear Lake.
Here are a few of the shots we took of the Bartleson girls (and Zach) from the day.

Thank goodness there are no more 100+ degree days in the forecast anytime soon Iowa! Fall is on the way. Finally!

These are taking with an alien bee 1600 and mostly a 28 f/1.8 lens triggered with pocket wizards plus II’s.

Lastly I smell family rivalry. Ahh baseball. Zach I really don’t think your winning this argument anytime soon with these three on the other side! 😛
