Katie + Tom Engaged | Des Moines Engagement Photos

The Alien Bee 1600 light is finally here! Along with a giant octabox, beauty dish and umbrella! We now have two engagement shoots with it under our belt this being the first with the new rockin’ light setup. Oh goodness the ability to shoot at 1 pm in mid August is amazing.

Here are just a few shots from the engagement session we shot downtown with Katie and Tom last Saturday. We started off with a few pictures at the capital and then headed over to the new walking bridge downtown.

Were shooting Katie and Tom’s wedding this November and sounds like they have some amazing stuff in store. Can’t wait! 🙂

Kelsi + Todd Engaged | Des Moines Engagement and Wedding Photographer

Friday night Tanner and I headed out to Lake Ahquabi state park in Indianola, Iowa for an engagement pictures with Kelsi and Todd. We went to Buena Vista University with these two where Todd played football and Kelsi was a cheerleader. We are shooting there wedding this October in the Des Moines.

I started off snapping a few ring shots while Tanner started in on portraits. I absolutely LOVE ring detail shots. I could probably shoot gorgeous rings all day so I apologize in advance for posting quite a few ring bling shots! Enjoy!

We had a wonderful time with you two and can’t wait until your wedding this October.

Tanner and I had another engagement session on Saturday in Downtown Des Moines and one this Wednesday and a fun senior session up for this weekend. Exciting to be so busy! Oh…and the ALIEN BEE lights have arrived! Next e-session pics posted soon with the new lights. Holy wow.
